Paul Bailey (Roy Thompson, The Cowboy Killer)
“Fortunately I realized at an early age that making a living and making a life are not the same thing. Subsequently, recognizing that my life is an art form has given it resonance.”
Paul’s training as an Actor and Director has come via stage productions. In the past 13 years Paul has appeared on stage 20 times. These roles have been as varied as: Mr. Manningham in “Angel Street”, Maitland in the “Chalk Garden”, Dale Harding in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, Harry Lambert in “It’s Never Too Late”, five different British Farces, as well as multiple and diverse roles in ensemble casts for “It’s a Wonderful Life-A Radio Show” and “The Laramie Project”. Paul’s directing debut was as Assistant Director for “Auntie Mame”. He has since Directed: “I Didn’t know You Could Cook”, “Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music” ,”The Curious Savage” , and “All I really needed to know I learned in Kindergarten.” Paul acknowledges that he accepted the role of Roy T. as “The Cowboy Killer” to further the process of developing himself as a film actor. Equally compelling however was the opportunity to participate in Ben Solenberger’s process of becoming a mega force in the industry. “You’re in for a damn treat.” |
